Delivery, Returns & Guarantee Policy
At Harry’s House of Furniture, we aim to make every delivery smooth and stress-free. Please take a moment to read through our delivery and returns policy to understand how everything works once your order is placed.
🛋 Issues on Delivery
Damage on Delivery
All items are checked before dispatch and delivered by professional couriers. If you notice any damage at the time of delivery, please let the delivery team know straight away. We’ll do our best to resolve it quickly — whether that means replacing the affected part or arranging a repair if you’re happy to accept that solution.
Once the delivery has been signed for as “received in good condition,” we can’t accept claims for damage reported afterwards.
Missed or Cancelled Deliveries
If you cancel your delivery within 24 hours of your scheduled date or are unavailable when the delivery team arrives, a £99 delivery fee will still apply. If a re-delivery is required, an additional £50 fee will be charged (total £149).
Items That Don’t Fit
It’s the customer’s responsibility to ensure furniture fits through doorways, stairways, and into the intended space. If delivery fails because the item does not fit, a £99 fee will apply. If you choose to exchange the item, the total redelivery fee is £149.
Incorrect or Missing Items

If the wrong item is delivered due to our supplier’s error, we’ll correct this free of charge.

If incorrect details were provided when placing the order, redelivery fees will apply.

Small missing parts (like feet or decorative cushions) can be sent out separately at no extra cost.
🔁 Returns
We want you to love your furniture — but if you change your mind:

Customers can return items within 28 days of delivery.

A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund to cover warehouse and repackaging costs.

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility — we don’t currently offer a collection service for returns.

Delivery charges are non-refundable.

Returned items must be in their original condition. Any damage or signs of wear may lead to further deductions from the refund amount.
🧾 Guarantee
All products come with a 12-month manufacturer’s guarantee covering structural defects in the frame and springs.
This guarantee does not cover:

Accidental damage at home

General wear and tear

Improper use (e.g., sitting on arms)

Sunlight fading or discolouration

Transit or handling damage caused after the item has been delivered and signed for
